Fans of George Michael will surely be delighted by the Christmas gift from their favorite pop star. They will be presented with a free download of George Michael's latest recording, December Song (I Dreamed of Christmas). The song will be available on George Michael's website and a number of other digital stores on Christmas Day. It is the singer's second Christmas holiday song that follows the tremendous success of his all-time hit Last Christmas released in 1984 and performed by Michael when he was a part of the pop due Wham.
The British pop legend promised the song to his fans on the last night of his concerts in the UK held in August. The star said the single would be released along with a cover version of Feeling Good, the song made popular by Nina Simone.
The pop star provided no details of the track that was recorded for US TV show called Eli Stone.
The concerts played by the pop legend at Earl's Court in summer are believed to be his last arena shows in the UK. George Michael told his fans that he wanted to stop touring and lead a quieter life.
It is remarkable that Last Christmas has been the most-played holiday song on UK radio for the last five years.
