The unique egg is not one-of-a-kind piece. Four of the eggs have already been sold.
Ewan Venters, Selfridges' director of food and restaurants, said: "The egg is the heaviest egg we have ever had in the store and is perfect for anyone planning a big party with family and friends this Easter. The egg has been made by a team of chocolatiers who are passionate about luxury chocolate and so it really does taste as good as it looks."
